During our trip to Mont Saint Michel, we were able to observe seagulls and make some images of them. So far, everything normal, since we are on the coast. But the behavior of the birds had changed. The absence of visitors made them feel more confident on the Mount, and that’s where all these photos came from.

Curious facts about Mont Saint Michel seagulls that were captured on images
- Normally, the seagulls nest on the Tombelaine islet, which is next to Mont Saint Michel, this place does not receive visitors and has been preserved for birds and their reproduction.
- They measure up to 60 cm long.
- Because Mont Saint Michel was practically deserted due to restrictions and confinements, the birds took the opportunity to settle on the roofs of the mountain and create their nests there too.
- In the past, the birds came to the visited place only to acquire food.
- The species that we see in Mont Saint Michel is the herring gull.
- Gull eggs are green-gray in color, as can be seen in the photo. That egg was already in an abandoned condition.
